- Minda Gordon, a former school teacher, is a passionate, motivated, and enterprising woman. In 1980, she and her husband, Carl, ventured into the women's clothing retail business.Minda has a heart for the less privileged. The poor living conditions she had seen in the Philippines, her country of birth, stirred in her a desire to help in any way she could. Minda opened her boutique with the primary purpose of supporting worthy, life-affirming causes. Through the years the Gordons have directed a significant portion of their business profits to helping the needy.
